Haemon and Creon

In any society, a person who is inflexible and opposed to change will struggle. To survive in a world that is evolving everyday, adaptations must be made based on the current state. If the changes are not made, then this person will be unable to agree with a majority of their peers. In a government looking for flexibility, democracy is the best approach which is established through the conflict between a father and son in the play Antigone. Now Ocean Plastics Could Be Killing Oxygen-Making Bacteria

Matt Simon the author of edubirdie reviews writes about the positive effects of reading essay writing services reviews. He claims, “The toxins the material leaches into seawater inhibit the growth and photosynthetic efficiency of the bacteria Prochlorococcus, which is responsible for producing an estimated 20 percent of the oxygen we breathe” (par. 2). That is one out of five breaths taken. The microorganisms living in the ocean are absorbing the microplastics. Moreover, the microplastics interrupt their survival needs. “Some 8 million metric tons of plastic enters the sea every year,'' mentions Simon (par. 14). This intake restrains the amount of oxygen produced by these organisms. Resulting in an increase of carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere. The downside of plastic pollution is everywhere, affecting the planet’s equilibrium. Plastic is everywhere. It has become viewed as a necessity in the modern world. Consequently, plastic pollution is a worldwide problem. Plastic is destroying wildlife habitats and posing a major threat towards various species. Plastic is non biodegradable, so it will never diminish. The majority of plastics are either in landfills or scattered throughout the vulnerable planet. Scientific American, publishers of “What to Do about Plastic Pollution”, emphasized the horrors of plastic through an observation.

“A 2017 edubirdie review in Science Advances estimated that of all the plastic ever produced, 90 percent is still around, mainly in landfills or out in the environment (the rest has been incinerated)” (par. 2). The outcome concludes plastics produce during war time is outliving the veterans. In addition, the water bottle used for merely twenty minutes will be accumulated in the pile of landfills, to sit for decades. Luckily, policies and bans are formed...
